Originally from Denver, CO, Travis began in the financial services industry in 2005 as a registered representative with Banc of America Investment Services. In 2008 he was offered the opportunity to represent Lincoln Financial Group’s Life Insurance suite to Edward Jones advisors. Since then, he’s served in multiple roles for Lincoln Financial Network as a Regional Life Specialist, Managing Principal, Regional Director, and Director of Strategic Alliances West. In addition, he has served on the leadership team as the Director of Sales for Mass Mutual Oregon, and as a Regional VP for Midland National Life Insurance. In these roles, Travis was recognized with multiple leadership awards for recruiting, sales performance, and annuity production. With a deep knowledge of both investment and insurance strategies, Travis has always sought to serve the client first knowing that the business flows from excellent service and personal connections.
Holding FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses along with his Life and Health Insurance licenses, he offers any solution that is suitable for clients in all stages of their financial lives.
After graduating with commencement honors from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR in 1999 he and his wife decided to build their life in the Pacific Northwest. As a student of the industry, Travis has served on multiple boards of directors for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and was President of the Board for both the local chapter in Portland/SW Washington as well as for the State of Oregon board. In these roles, Travis was recognized by the organization with the Tony Konen Memorial Award for outstanding local association leadership.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Travis has two school-aged children and spends most of his free time with his family on different explorations of the northwest. Additionally, he has coached and supported multiple local soccer clubs and, on most weekends, can be found on the sideline for his daughters’ games. A player himself, Travis is also involved with multiple men’s league teams and finds great balance through continuing to learn and grow as a player and tactician.
Travis joined One San Diego Financial Strategies, Inc in May of 2023 and is building a branch of the firm in Portland, OR to deliver the same revolutionary service and care to the clients in the Pacific Northwest.
