Bar began his financial career in 1999 working in retail banking. He then entered the Mortgage Lending and Real Estate sector in early 2000’s. Bar then transitioned to the Financial Services sector as a Financial Advisor in 2011 with New York Life. Bar found success quickly as an advisor and also found he had a passion for helping other advisors be more successful very early on in his financial advisor career. Bar continued this success by joining J.P Morgan Chase in 2014 with the goal of focusing more on client needs and personal relationships. In 2015, Bar was recruited by MassMutual Financial Group to become a Managing Director, leading a team of financial professionals in Southern California. As a Managing Director, Bar built one of the top teams in Southern California for MassMutual.
What led Bar to join One San Diego Financial Strategies, Inc. was a desire to have a client experience that focused on collaboration, transparency, independence & creativity, unhindered by corporate restrictions. Furthermore, because the focus at One San Diego is on dedicated and consistent mentoring, coaching and development, Bar felt he could concentrate on helping new advisors and agents build a success practice with increased resources and scalability. Lastly and most importantly, he saw that he could truly trust and rely on the leadership team to be counted on to step up, take action and follow through on anything that was needed to support members of the firm and their clients.
Bar’s primary objective for his personal clients is to help them get to their desired financial outcome in a complex and constantly changing world by recommending solutions that can help them achieve what is most important to them. To that end, Bar is supported by a team of professionals with many years of combined experience in financial and retirement services, estate preservation, charitable giving, business insurance, executive compensation, and employee benefits.
Bar is very active in the community. He is a member of the Rancho Cucamonga Kiwanis Club, a Fraternal Member of the F & A M of California, a Member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of the Southern Jurisdiction, and a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Los Angeles. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, fishing, Jiu Jitsu, and golf.
Bar grew up and lives in Rancho Cucamonga, California with his wife Evita, daughter Lailani, his two sons Jasper and Ethan, and their dog Maddox. Bar and Evita have a passion to end child hunger and illiteracy. His whole family are members of the Hospitality Team at Water of Life Church.
